Louise A. Frechette, PSA, a national
award winning artist, whose seascape paintings are inspired by
the awesome power and beauty of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans,
paints with a wide spectrum of richly colored soft pastels using
her fingers only. The pastel works often contain touches of 23
karat gold or silver leaf. Her oils, some mural size, are painted
on pure linen canvases conveying her vision which carries the
observer to another dimension. Each original work of art is impeccably
framed in gold or silver with raw silk mats. Her pounding surf
and mystical imagery can be viewed in eight art galleries nationwide
from Maine to California.
Louise was invited by
eight distinguished international art jurists to represent the
USA in an exhibit of her art in Florence, Italy in December 2003,
along with seventy-nine other countries. She was also invited
to the FLORENCE BIENNALE INTERNATIONALE DELL' ARTE CONTEMPORANEA
